Averoff Gallery
The E. Averoff Gallery is a museum of modern Greek art. It consists of paintings, sculptures, drawings and engraving by Greek artists of the 19th and 20th century.
Guided tours take place every Friday and Saturday at 1pm.
Metsovo folk art museum
Metsovo folk art museum is one of Baron Michael Tossizza Foundation’s very first projects and has been in operation since 1955. It is housed in the renovated manor house of the Tossizza family—famous benefactors of Metsovo— which was originally built in 1661.
Walking through the museum, the visitors can relive the atmosphere of centuries gone by and learn how a Metsovo manor house was organised and functioned.
Katogi Winery
The winery is fully equipped with up-to-date equipment for wine production and bottling. You are invited to visit the Katogi Averoff winery and enjoy a guided tour – a unique, multimedia-rich initiation into the world of wine, the history of Katogi and our winemaking process, as well as an exciting opportunity to admire the extensive range of art installations on site.
The winery is open daily 10am – 4pm.
Averofios Garden
The tall trees and evergreen vegetation prevail all around Metsovo. However, this park is another ideal place, where children can be introduced to all different kinds of trees growing in Pindos. Here you will meet oaks, firs and beech trees as well as lots of other kinds of plants and bushes of the area. In the Garden there is also a playground and the temple of Agios Georgios.
Aoos Lake
Aoos Lake is a beautiful artificial lake at an altitude of 1350 meters, in the heart of Pindos mountains. It is located in the prefecture of Ioannina and covers the area between two National Parks, Valia Calda and Vikos – Aoos Natural Park. It is characterized as an area of special natural beauty. A day trip to Aoos Lake – Vovousa – Valia Calda, is an unforgettable experience.
Hydrokinetics Museum – Nerotrivi (washing mechanism)
Anthohori village is located southwest of Metsovo, within a walking distance. Rona stream runs through the village, the waters of which descend headfirst from Peristeri Mountain. The stream activates the “nerotrivi” (an ecological washing mechanism) through a water mill and a dristella – the system of wooden pounders which are used to clean woolen blankets, rugs etc. The three units have been completely restored and their mechanisms have been reproduced in detailed, creating a Hydrokinetics museum.

Tsanaka Folklore Museum
Tsanaka Folklore Museum is housed in the old stoned house of Veneti family at St.George’s region. It is Metsovite – Vlach art museum.
Divanis Gallery
Divanis Gallery begun its official operation at Metsovo on 31st December 2011 and is specialized in anything related to old Greek art as well as with the branch Islamic art concerning the Ottoman Empire. Before that, Dimitrios Divanis was a freelancer of many important and old galleries which deal with pertinent issues in Greece and abroad either by providing them consulting services or by forwarding akin artifacts via those galleries.
